Prophet Eric Kofi Owusu is a world-renowned and anointed servant of God, called and gifted in the five-fold ministry. He is the Founder and Overseer of United Worship Cathedral (UWC), formerly Holy Fire Dynamic Word International Church. Born in Asafo, Kumasi, Ghana, Prophet Eric’s life bears witness to God’s miraculous power. As a child, he was unable to walk and moved backwards until, at age five, God healed him completely—a divine sign of the calling upon his life. He surrendered to Christ in his teens and began preaching soon after. By the age of 15, he was leading dawn broadcasts and prayer fellowships that drew crowds, earning him the nicknames “The More the More” and “Fire Fire” for his passion and zeal. In 2001, he met First Lady Diana Owusu in Kumasi, and they married in 2003. They are blessed with four children—one son, Jethro, and three daughters, Rahel, Beyoncé, and Gladys Nhyira. In 2004, following God’s direction, Prophet Eric relocated to the United States, beginning his ministry in the living room of his mother-in-law in the Bronx. What started with a few believers has grown into a vibrant, multicultural church family known today as United Worship Cathedral in Yonkers, New York—with branches in New Jersey, Virginia, and Ghana. Prophet Eric’s ministry is marked by healing, deliverance, and transformation. The sick have been healed, the barren have conceived, and those in despair have found renewed faith and joy. Known for his humility, humor, and down-to-earth preaching, he continues to inspire believers to live by faith, walk in power, and fulfill their divine purpose.
